Dr. Pilar Sampers Orts is a Specialist in Radiation Oncology and has an extensive professional career focused on clinical practice in first level hospitals. 

She is a Researcher and Expert in 3D Conformal Radiotherapy, in high dose rate brachytherapy of all locations such as Gynecological tumors, Breast, Esophagus, Lung, Skin, ENT, Sarcomas, low dose rate Prostate Brachytherapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy or IMRT, Volumetric Modulated Arcotherapy (VMAT), Image Guided Radiotherapy: CBCT, ExacTrac and in Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy or SBRT. 

Her time in Defense Hospitals gave her the knowledge and experience to assume positions of high importance such as in the Radiation Oncology Service at the Hospital Rey Juan Carlos. She has authored four books on Radiotherapy, its advances and Radiochemotherapy. In addition, she has published more than forty texts in national and international journals, a dozen book chapters and a hundred communications and presentations at national and international conferences.
