A Doctor of Medicine from the University of Extremadura, Fernando Pérez Escanilla is considered a true eminence in Family and Community Medicine. In this sense, he has an extensive professional career in this field, which has led him to hold relevant positions, among which stands out that of Team Coordinator of the Primary Care Management of Salamanca.  

It should be noted that he has an extensive scientific production, where he has developed several studies aimed at improving medical practice. Among them is his work "Utility of a Clinical Ultrasound Classroom for Primary Care Physicians as a training intervention system", which was awarded the First Prize for the Best Research Project of the Spanish Society of General and Family Physicians.
