Dr. Florentino Hernando Trancho, specialized in Thoracic Surgery, is an expert in the treatment of Lung Cancer, a disease on which he has focused a large part of his efforts throughout his medical career. By means of his professional worth, he has managed to become the Head of the Thoracic Surgery Service of the San Carlos Clinical Hospital. 

His research eagerness to discover new techniques to improve the survival rate of patients suffering from lung cancer has led him to become a member of the Committee of Experts of the Lung Ambition Alliance initiative, organized by several important Spanish medical associations. Likewise, he has written numerous scientific articles related to Thoracic Surgery, both exclusively and as co-author.
