Dr. Carmen Alba Linero is a specialist in Ophthalmology who has developed her medical activity in this area at the Barcelona Hospital Clínic and in the Ocular Surface and Inflammation Unit of the Ophthalmology Service of the Regional University Hospital of Malaga. She has also been responsible for setting up the multidisciplinary program of "Care of the Ocular Affected Patient after Transplantation of Hematopoietic Precursors" between the Ophthalmology and Hematology Services of the second mentioned hospital institution. 

In addition to being a university teacher in her specialty, Carmen Alba Linero is an assiduous speaker and an outstanding researcher. In this regard, she has published a book chapter on the impact of COVID-19 in the university setting and has delved into the characterization of the anterior pole in patients treated by Allogeneic Transplantation of Hematopoietic Precursors
