Experience

Throughout his prolific career, Dr. David Aguilera Alonso has participated as principal researcher and co-author of multiple projects and clinical trials. These include benchmark analyses in the scientific landscape on antimicrobial resistance, HIV infections, viral respiratory problems, Tuberculosis and vaccine implementation.  

For most of his professional career, he has held the position of Adjunct Physician in Pediatrics at the Gregorio Marañón University Hospital, being a member of its prestigious Infectious Diseases Unit. He is also an invited editor and reviewer of scientific publications such as Frontiers in Pediatrics, Clinical Microbiology, Annals of Pediatrics and Archives of Bronchopneumology.
