Dr. Jesús Enrique Vilá Rico is a recognized Specialist in Traumatology and Orthopedic Surgery, with more than 25 years of work experience and continued academic training as a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery, as well as international training stays at the Charité Hospital in Berlin and Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, which have allowed him to hold the position of President of the Spanish Society of Foot and Ankle Surgery (SEMCPT), honorary member of the European Foot and Ankle Society (EFAS) and the Spanish Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology (SECOT).  

As Chief of the Quirón Ruber Hospital Complex and Director of the Foot and Ankle Unit at the 12 de Octubre University Hospital in Madrid, he continues to see patients directly in private practice and combines this with research and training as a university lecturer. Due to this facet, he has led several projects among which stands out the Study of the prevention of bone infections in orthopedic surgery, of which he is the coordinator, while actively participating as a speaker at numerous conferences and medical events.
