Dr. Luis Puente Maestú is an eminent Pneumologist, who has been linked for more than twenty years to the Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón in Madrid. In that health care institution, he holds the position of Head of Department and, from that position, he is in charge of offering Diagnosis, Treatment and Follow-up to Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and other surgical pathologies.  

In addition, he leads the international initiative of Task Force, for the definition of the use of Stress Tests in the Evaluation of Respiratory Conditions.  

As part of his research activity, he has carried out several study projects in collaboration with specialized medical centers throughout Spain. Likewise, he had training and scientific stay at the Harbor Medical Center of the University of California, in the United States. He continuously serves as a Reviewer of Scientific Publications and has participated in more than thirty clinical trials.
