Economist José Manuel García de la Cruz, who has an extensive professional career in this sector, is a specialist in Economic Integration, International and Development Economics. His extensive skills in these areas have led him to work as a consultant for various entities, including Ernst & Young and the European Commission, where he carried out identification and evaluation tasks within the CERPYME program. He has also held the same position at the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation.  

His demonstrable work experience has allowed him to work as an Analyst in the Economic Studies Service of the Banco Exterior de España. After years working in his profession, he has decided to transfer his knowledge to the academic field, being the author of books such as Economía Española: Estructura y regulación and El Euro: mucho más que una moneda. He has also been a lecturer in university studies related to Economics, being invited to several prestigious centers in Latin America.
