After graduating as a Nurse, Manuel Fernando Arenas Bonilla has developed a career as a specialist in the Nephrology and Dialysis service, working in various prestigious public and private hospitals. 

He has articulated his career with the teaching field, which has allowed him to develop various scientific publications in the sector, which have to do mainly with kidney disease in geriatric patients and their treatment in combination with other pathologies.
