Dr. Ángel Pérez Núñez is a Neurosurgery Specialist and has been in clinical practice in this area for more than 2 decades at the 12 de Octubre University Hospital, where he is also Head of Section. He develops his activity mainly in the field of Neuro-oncology, with a great deal of experience in awake patient surgery for the monitoring of essential brain areas, as a tool to optimize the oncological and functional outcome in brain tumor resection interventions. 

In addition, he has a reference curriculum, both from the practical and academic point of view, supported, mainly, by a Doctorate in Medicine, as well as by the stay at the UCSF Brain Tumor Centre in San Francisco, a reference center in the world for the management of Cancer. In addition, he has combined clinical practice with research, being part of several scientific projects such as those developed in the Neuro-Oncology and Neurotraumatology group.
