Dr. David Díaz Valle is an Ophthalmology Specialist and Section Chief of the Ocular Surface and Inflammation Unit at the San Carlos Clinical Hospital in Madrid. He has specialized in Uveitis, Keratoplasties, Corneal Ectasias, Dry Eye and Cataracts, forging a career that has allowed him to be awarded prizes such as the Hermenegildo Arruga Award, granted by the Spanish Society of Ophthalmology.   

In addition, he has been selected to participate in the International FOCUS Group that includes national and international experts in the treatment of Uveitis. He is a Founding Member and Member of the Board of Directors of SEIO, being a Researcher with more than 170 publications in important international journals, 7 books on Ophthalmology and more than 90 chapters of books and monographs. He has also participated in more than 250 courses and national and international congresses and in multiple projects and consolidated research groups.
