Dr. María Concepción Díaz Ruiz is an Ophthalmologist at the Virgen Macarena University Hospital. She works in the Oculoplasty, Orbit and Ocular Oncology care units, as well as in the National Reference Unit for Adult and Childhood Intraocular Tumors.  

She is co-coordinator of the regional reference unit for the integral management of the Anophthalmic Cavity and is part of the European Retinoblastoma Reference Network. She belongs to a working group on Severe Ocular Pathology and High Prevalence Pathology with Ocular involvement. In addition, she has written several articles for scientific publications and has participated in research projects.
