  • Provide all the necessary tools to nursing professionals to assess, diagnose and intervene in the patient's pain in a holistic context 
  • Identify pain, its consequences and the best intervention according to the situation and needs of the patient using all necessary nursing techniques 
  • Manage the most up-to-date pain management in a multidisciplinary context and from the nursing discipline

  • Identify the different types of pain according to etiology, location and temporality 
  • Take a complete initial clinical history to be able to detect changes in condition over time

  • Contextualize the epidemiology of childhood pain 
  • Describe the physiological or biological, behavioral and behavioral methods used to manage pain 
  • Provide health education to patients and families on the management of musculoskeletal pain 
  • Appreciate the importance of good quality communication with people with pain and improve their performance 
  • Know the most important psychological aspects that influence people with pain and on which the success of any treatment may depend 
  • Deepen and choose among the most effective techniques used in the treatment of people with pain
