Dr. Carlos Yair Durán Martínez is an outstanding physician with an extensive career in the field of Family and Community Medicine. In fact, it is worth noting his excellent performance in the position of Deputy Secretary of the Spanish Society of General and Family Physicians (SEMG), where he has also coordinated the Digital Health Working Group, reflecting his commitment to innovation and continuous improvement in medical care

In his professional practice, he has worked at the Continuing Care Point (PAC) of O Barco de Valdeorras, belonging to the Health Area of Ourense, Verín and O Barco de Valdeorras of the Servizo Galego de Saúde (SERGAS). He has also worked as a family doctor in the Bierzo Healthcare Assistance Authority, in Castilla and León, where he has consolidated his experience in Primary Care

His experience also includes his time in Mexico, where he performed social service as a Medical Intern at the Rural Medical Unit 152 Vicente Guerrero of the Mexican Institute of Social Security, in the Huasteca Region. He has also excelled as an undergraduate intern in various specialties, including Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, General Surgery and Pediatrics at the Hospital Angeles del Pedregal, and Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Hospital Materno Infantil Cuajimalpa
