During her successful career, Dr. María Toledano Navarro has thoroughly investigated the most effective diagnostic and interventional procedures for pediatric congenital heart disease. Based on this specialization, she was chosen to direct the Family Cardiopathies and Hemodynamics Department at the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital. 

She also holds international accreditations from the European Resuscitation Council and the European Society of Cardiology that endorse her as one of the leading experts in these academic fields.
