Giovanna Hernanz Borrego is a Nurse who, throughout her extensive health career, has performed various functions with the utmost solvency in the Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón in Madrid. After working as a Nurse in the Medical Diseases Service, she got the opportunity to be in charge of the Head of the Nursing Unit for Internal Medicine. Her excellent praxis in this position led her to become the head of the Medical Specialties Nursing Area. 

She has, therefore, experience in the coordination and care in Geriatric Nursing, the Palliative Cities Unit and Pneumology, among many other sections. In addition, she has participated as Principal Investigator and Collaborator in several studies on the role of nurses in Medical Hospitalization Units. She has also taught in postgraduate university programs.
