With great interest in Tumors of Unknown Origin, Dr. Arántzazu Barquín García has devoted most of her career to the field of Oncology. Her scientific analyses and results in this area earned her the Jan Vermorken Grant for Young Researchers in 2020, awarded annually by the Spanish Ovarian Cancer Research Group.  

Thanks to her professional studies, she was a member of the Gynecological Tumor Unit of the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, United Kingdom. Currently, she is investigating the Immunological Basics of Ovarian Cancer with greater precision and the use of Cellular Therapies against them.
