As Head of the Placental Insufficiency Unit of the University Hospital Vall d'Hebron, Dr. Manel Mendoza has dedicated his clinical career mainly to the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition, he is a specialist in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, performing research work in the group dedicated to this area of VHIR.

In clinical practice, she monitors pregnancies with preeclampsia and intrauterine fetal growth restriction, among other tasks that she combines with her position as a member of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Section of the Catalan Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
