Dr. Luis Sabater Ortí is an expert in Surgery, specifically in relation to the Hepatobiliopancreatic Area. He has been working in medicine for more than 30 years as a FEA in various clinical centers of reference, reaching the responsibility of the unit of his specialty in the Hospital of Valencia. Part of this success is also due to his tireless academic work, which reached its zenith with the award of the Extraordinary Doctorate Prize for his thesis on the systemic effects in Acute Pancreatitis.
In addition, he is part of the select team of professionals accredited by the European Board of Hepato-Bilio-Pancreatic Surgery, an internationally recognized program in this medical area. On the other hand, he has carried out extensive research, scientific and teaching work, being author and director of 2 books in the specialty, 27 book chapters, 63 international articles, 35 national articles, 14 publicly and privately funded research projects, and more than 300 contributions to congresses and invited conferences.
