With an extensive clinical career of more than two decades of experience, Dr. Roberto Rodríguez Jiménez has specialized in the field of Psychiatry as well as in Medicine and Psychology. In this way, he has held the position of head of the hospitalization section of the Hospital 12 de Octubre, as well as being responsible for the day hospital and the emergency department. 

His interest in clinical research has led him to be part of different entities and research groups, focusing on biomedical research, cognition and psychosis. He has also been principal investigator at the Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red Salud Mental, focusing specifically on the psychotic disorders of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
