The Medical Pathologist Alberto Rábano Gutiérrez del Arroyo is an expert in the diagnosis of various types of neurological disorders. Throughout his long professional career in this field, he has been responsible for the Neuropathology Department of the Neurological Diseases Research Center. Given his excellent knowledge in this area, he has been chosen as Director of the Tissue Bank of this entity.  

His professional interest has motivated him to coordinate various activities related to neurodegenerative pathologies such as, for example, the Alzheimer Center Project, aimed at research and offering care services for patients. In addition, he has been an active member of a large number of organizations, holding the position of President of the Spanish Neuropathology Club or being part of the Steering Committee of the National Biobanks Network Platform.
