Dr. María Ángeles Ortega Casarrubio has worked for more than 15 years to become a Neurology Specialist known for the quality and impeccability of her clinical practice. Thanks to the constant effort, which is materialized in a great academic and professional curriculum, she has managed to reach the Presidency of the Ethics Committee for Health Care at the 12 de Octubre University Hospital, where she also works as an Area Specialist Physician.

She is a Doctor of Medicine with the thesis Predictive prognostic value of capillary glycemia levels in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Influence of 'to be or not to be' diabetic, and completed a Master's Degree in Bioethics, culminating her academic stage with a Postgraduate Certificate for trainers, which has helped her to give workshops and symposiums related to the Clinical Area.
