Dr. Matías Alfonso Olmos-García, Specialist in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, has focused the vast part of his medical practice on the Diagnosis and Surgical Treatment of Back Pathologies, more specifically of the Spine. His excellent knowledge in this area, put into practice with patients over several decades, has allowed him to direct the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology at the Navarra University Clinic.   

Although his main job has always been as a Surgeon, he has been involved in research projects related to the possibility of using the Vertebroplasty Technique with Acrylic Cement, combined with Antineoplastics to locally control Vertebral Metastases. Likewise, he has collaborated in dozens of national and international scientific publications, as well as participated in a large number of congresses on Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology.
