Victor Lopez has a PhD in Biopharmacy, Pharmacology and Drug Quality. He is the Principal Investigator of the Phyto-Pharm Group and his line of research focuses on the Pharmacology of Natural Products with particular emphasis on bioactive compounds, natural antioxidants and plant extracts of pharmaceutical, cosmetic and agri-food interest.  

He is the author of more than 65 articles in international indexed journals with more than half of them in Q1, as well as of numerous communications in specialized congresses and several book chapters. During the last years, a large number of publications have been made on the Activity of Polyphenols from the Diet and their role in the Prevention of Neurodegerantive or Metabolic Diseases. He is Reviewer and Editor of international indexed scientific publications and has directed several doctoral theses with the qualification of outstanding Cum Laude.
