With a solid background and an outstanding career in the field of Veterinary Ophthalmology, Dr. Laura Jiménez Heras has consolidated her position as a leader in both the clinical and academic fields. Her professional experience has included work as Head of the Ophthalmology and Surgery Service, in addition to being in charge of specialized Equine Ophthalmology consultations, where she has demonstrated a comprehensive and advanced approach in the treatment of ocular pathologies in various species. 

As a result, her experience has encompassed both veterinary surgery and equine ophthalmology, consolidating her as a reference in the diagnosis and treatment of complex ocular diseases. Similarly, her commitment to research has allowed the implementation of new techniques and therapeutic approaches in her specialty, an area in which she has shown a deep dedication. Consequently, she has carried out training stays in prestigious institutions such as IVO Oftalmología Veterinaria and VisionVet, which has enriched her clinical practice and expanded her capacity to offer innovative solutions.
