After graduating as a Doctor in Medicine and Surgery, Eugenia Antolin Alvarado focused her career towards the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology with exclusive dedication to prenatal ultrasound, fetal medicine and surgery, with more than 25 years of experience in the area. 

In this way, she evolved in her career occupying various positions in health care centers such as the La Paz Children's Hospital, becoming the Head of the Ultrasound and Fetal Medicine Section of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Service of La Paz University Hospital.  

At the same time, she is Associate Professor at several universities, lecturer in more than a hundred courses and speaker at national and international conferences on Fetal Medicine. She has published book chapters and articles in high impact medical journals. She is also a member of the research group of Obstetrics and Gynecology of IdiPAZ and SAMID Network, President of the Ultrasound Section of the Spanish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics and principal investigator and collaborator in projects funded by the ISCIII.
