Dr. Julia María Aboal Alonso is an outstanding professional in the field of Family and Community Medicine, working at the Sagrado Corazón Health Center. In fact, her academic training and dedication to the community have been reflected in her active participation in various projects and her continuous interest in improving health care

A medical graduate from the University of Santiago de Compostela, she has complemented her training with a variety of specialized courses. These include "Vaccination of adults", "Clinical communication: communication with deaf people in the consultation" and "Program to improve health care for refugees, applicants and beneficiaries of international protection and victims of trafficking". In addition, she has expanded her knowledge in key areas such as public health surveillance and epidemiology, focusing on alcohol and tobacco consumption in primary care. 

Likewise, another of the most notable aspects of her career has been her participation in the implementation and coordination of the Community Project "Caring for those who care", using the ProCC (Community Corrective Processes) methodology. This project has focused on providing support to caregivers, recognizing the importance of their well-being for the proper care of others. 

Additionally, Dr. Julia María Aboal Alonso has demonstrated a strong commitment to equal opportunities and the fight against gender violence, having completed courses such as "Violence against women. How to detect it and guidelines for action from the Galician Health Service" and "Equal opportunities and against gender violence".
