Therapeutic Pedagogy has become the fundamental core of today's educational environment, where diversity in the classroom is increasingly evident. And as the best way to perfect these skills is through practice, TECH has designed a program consisting of a 120-hour stay in a reference educational center in the field of Therapeutic Pedagogy.
Throughout 3 weeks, the graduates will be part of a team of specialists of the highest level, with whom they will work actively in the management of students with special needs, either by some kind of cognitive, sensory, physical disorder or problems in their social environment or learning difficulties.

In this way, you will be able to acquire not only the most effective teaching procedures, but you will also implement in your practice the skills to recognize and value the uniqueness of each student, adapting pedagogical strategies to optimize their academic, social and emotional development. In this way, you will participate in a program that will elevate your pedagogical talents to the highest level.

Carry out the evaluation and diagnosis of special educational needs

Working with special educational needs
Use and adapt tools and materials according to the needs and developmental stages of the student
Differentiate the concepts of attention deficit disorder, with and without hyperactivity
Recognize the different motor disorders
Coordinate teaching teams for the appropriate use of prostheses and other technical aids
Delve into autism spectrum disorder, as well as other pervasive and specific developmental disorders
Evaluate and treat students suffering from mental disorders
Identify the most relevant eye and ear diseases for further evaluation and intervention
Recognize communication disorders and their incidence in the developmental stages of the student for intervention
Use Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as a tool in Special Education
