Experience
Xavier Vendrell Montón is a Doctor in Biological Sciences who has developed an excellent professional career in the field of Assisted Reproduction Research and Genetics. Together with his team, he has been able to develop preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) for more than 200 monogenic diseases or diagnose numerical and structural chromosomal alterations in more than 2000 couples. This impeccable work performance has earned him the position of Head of the Reproduced Genetics Unit in Genomic Systems.
In this line, he has been Principal Investigator in several projects related to Assisted Reproduction and Genetics, as well as author of more than 40 scientific papers and regular speaker at conferences. Likewise, he has been a lecturer in university studies of Biology.
