Dr. María Pilar Rodríguez Ledo is an outstanding professional in the field of Family Medicine and research in Spain. She has held several high-level positions throughout her career, especially as President of the Territorial Committee of Research Ethics of Santiago-Lugo

She has also been National Coordinator of the Working Group on Methodology and Research Support of the Spanish Society of General and Family Physicians (SEMG), contributing significantly to the advancement of research and medical training in her field. In addition, in the field of health management, she has held the role of Deputy Medical Director of the Integrated Management Structure of Lugo, Cervo and Monforte, as well as that of Deputy Secretary of the Official College of Physicians of Lugo. Committed to innovation, Dr. María Pilar Rodríguez Ledo has also served as Head of both the Innovation Node and the Simulation Classroom, both in the Integrated Management Structure of Lugo, Cervo and Monforte

In addition, her work in the organization of scientific events and his participation in scientific committees of various congresses have been fundamental for the dissemination of medical knowledge. In this sense, she has presented more than 123 communications at national and international congresses and has published more than 100 articles in scientific journals, as well as contributing to several book chapters and directing multiple doctoral theses. For this, her work has been recognized with several awards, including the SEMG Innovation Award (2019) and the Nóvoa Santos Award (2021)
