Joan Prat Bartomeu is a renowned Ophthalmologist, whose center of study covers pathologies such as Ptosis, Strabismus, Nystagmus, Myopia and Hyperopia. Throughout his more than two decades of service, he has worked for the best health institutions, obtaining positions of high prestige. He is currently the Head of the Ophthalmology Service at the San Juan de Dios Children's Hospital in Barcelona.  

He has also combined his work in health care with the academic field, teaching in various programs in the service of his specialty. He is also a member of important medical associations such as SEO, SCO and the European Society of Ophthalmic.
