Experience

Doctor in Animal Science Sergio Andrés Arias Serrato has a broad background in the field of Veterinary Medicine and Small Animal Surgery, as well as in Agricultural Sciences. He has experience in the area with emphasis in Clinical Animal Surgery, working mainly in the following subjects: Small Animal Surgery, Canine and Cat Orthopedics and Small Animal Clinic, Implantology, Gait Biomechanics, Kinesiology and Neurology.  

He has more than 25 years of experience and serves as Director of the Center of Reference and Specialists OrthoVet Colombia, in Bogota, and is a University Professor in various undergraduate and graduate studies, specifically in the area of Small Animal Surgery. In addition, he is an Instructor at the AOVET Foundation of Orthopedics and Member of the Board of Directors for Latin America of the same, fulfilling the role of Community Developer. Due to his successful trajectory, he has been a National and International Lecturer in the field of Small Animal Orthopedics.
