Dr. José Manuel Miras is a Specialist Physicia in General Surgery and Digestive System and Expert in Obesity Surgery. He has an extensive and outstanding training and professional career of over 40 years in several of the most prestigious hospitals in the city of Madrid, where he has become a Specialist Physician in the Obesity Surgery Unit of the General Surgery and Digestive System Service at the Quirónsalud La Luz Hospital in Madrid, with more than 2000 cases of successful operations. 

He is a collaborator in the development of research projects on Morbid Obesity, has published more than 100 articles and studies in national and international journals, as well as has collaborated in multiple books and monographs, and has participated as a lecturer at various round tables, courses and seminars.
