Dr. Alberto Martínez Isla is a precursor of the LABEL Technique of laparoscopic surgery for the exploration and removal of gallstones. During three decades of professional career, he has perfected other surgical procedures in the field of general and pancreatic surgery.  

These experiences have earned him the position of Consultant Surgeon at St. Marks Hospital, Northwick Park, London. He also has extensive research and scientific publications related to Esophagogastric Cancer and the use of minimally invasive surgical techniques.
