With an outstanding clinical and scientific career, Dr. Marta de Diego has held the position of President of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Surgery. Undoubtedly, her continuous training in issues of sexual differentiation anomalies, pediatric urology, caudal pole pathology and management of health institutions endorse her performance in this position.

In addition to this, she was the organizer of the twelfth edition of the European Congress of the European Society of Pediatric Surgeons, being also the Director of the Postgraduate Certificate in Pediatric Surgery at the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital. It is in this same center where she performs management and direction tasks in the Surgical-Pediatric Area, as she is the Head and Responsible of this service.
