With a vocation from an early age to promote the cardiac welfare of people, derived from the disease suffered by his grandfather, Dr. Juvenal Rey Lois decided to focus his medical practice in this field, specializing in Cardiovascular Surgery. His special sensitivity to save the lives of the youngest patients led him to focus on this type of patients, being an expert in the treatment of congenital heart disease. As a result, he has been able to work as a Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon at the University Hospital La Paz in Madrid.  

His career is not limited exclusively to surgical development, since he has also had experience in the field of teaching. In this sense, he has been a teacher in university studies of Medicine and in postgraduate programs related to Pediatric Cardiology.
