General Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology are the main areas of activity of Dr. Moisés León Ruiz. He is a physician who has worked in health promotion to minimize functional deficits in people with severe disabilities associated with the central nervous system through his practice in several clinical centers such as Clínica San Vicente, Hospital Quirónsalud de San José and University Hospital del Sureste, among others.
In addition, his interest in medicine and in the development of increasingly specialized diagnostic and treatment strategies for neurological patients has led him to participate in several lines of research, such as the one related to the evidence on the potential therapeutic applications of transcranial magnetic stimulation in stroke and multiple sclerosis and the main neurological complications of nephrourological cancers.
