Dr. Javier Gavilán Bouzas is a Professor and Medical Specialist in Otolaryngology, with more than forty years of experience in his profession and with many awards such as the Honor Award of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-HNS. Throughout his extensive and outstanding career as a physician, he has come to work in several of the most prestigious hospitals in the city of Madrid, becoming Chief of Service and Professor of Otolaryngology at the La Paz University Hospital. 

In addition, he is a medical teacher in different educational centers of national and international prestige and combines these activities with scientific research, having more than 350 articles in Scientific Journals and being a member of more than 25 Scientific Societies.
