Dr. Mariano Ruiz Ortiz is a Neurologist whose areas of subspecialty and interest are movement disorders, headaches, Neuroimmunology and Vascular Neurology. He has worked in different clinical settings such as in the 12 de Octubre University Hospital or in Quirónsalud as a Specialist Area Physician managing all types of patients with central nervous system disorders. He is considered an expert in lumbar puncture and in the practice of botulinum toxin infiltration in movement disorders.  

To achieve this status, he has carried out an extensive and multidisciplinary academic career, starring two master's degrees in Neuroimmunology and Clinical Medicine, as well as several programs and workshops in areas such as EEG interpretation, ENG-EMG or supra-aortic and transcranial trunk Doppler ultrasound. In addition, he has been a professor at AMIR, while he has participated in the co-authorship of several articles for international journals such as Neurology or Neurol.
