Dr. María Isabel Relimpio López is a distinguished ophthalmologist specializing in Retina and Medical Ocular Oncology. This specialty has allowed her to hold the position of coordinator of the Intraocular Tumors Unit of the Virgen Macarena Hospital, where she is also a tutor for residents. 

Thus, Retina-Vitreous Surgery and Anterior Pole Surgery are areas that she masters with mastery and has allowed her to become an expert in this field.  In addition to her great clinical and care work, her research work has led her to have numerous publications and to obtain national and international awards.
