Dr. Rosa María Coco Martín has been dedicated to the research of Retinal Pathology for more than 20 years, being the author of numerous publications based on degenerative and hereditary diseases of the retina. Her capacity for analysis and study in the field of Ophthalmology makes her one of the most brilliant specialists in this field with an H 20 Index in Web Of Science and an H 18 Index in Scopus. 

Her passion for the scientific area and her ability to lead teams has allowed her to develop a large part of her career at the Institute of Applied Ophthalmobiology (IOBA) of the University of Valladolid.
