With more than 25 years of experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Medicine, Dr. José Luis Vázquez Martínez has excelled in the use of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), which he uses extensively in the Intensive Care Unit he leads and which allows him a comprehensive assessment, from head to toe, of critically ill children.
In this sense, as Head of the Pediatric Section of the University Hospital Ramón y Cajal, he has deepened in this area and obtained several achievements that have made him a reference as a member of the Pediatric Ultrasound Working Group of the same hospital.
He also develops as University Professor and Winfocus Iberia Professor of echocardiography in acute, urgent and critical patient, as well as numerous other congresses, scientific events and postgraduate programs.
