Carlos J. Ochoa Fernández is a renowned expert in Technological Innovation, Digital Marketing and a pioneer in entrepreneurship and international business development related to ICT. He is founder and CEO of the company ONE Digital Consulting (formerly E-Learning Consulting) and president of the Madrid/Spain chapter of the VR/AR Association and Co-Chair of the VR/AR Education Committee. Also, he has actively participated in several initiatives in the framework of Smart Cities together with the AENOR Expert Group.

During more than 30 years of professional career in leadership, management and consulting, he has collaborated with companies such as SIEMENS, Sagentia and Cap Gemini. He is also a founding member of Immersive Learning and the ICICLE X-Reality group for Learning and Performance Improvement. He is also the author of the books Best Practices in VR in Education and State of the Art of XR in Education, published by the VR/AR Association.

Ochoa Fernández holds an International MBA in Entrepreneurship from Babson College and a postgraduate degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland. He has also obtained certifications in Digital Marketing for International Business Development and in ICT and GIS from Siemens Data-Technic School (Germany).

He is also an Expert Evaluator for the European Commission, an Independent Evaluator for Alberta Innovates (Canada) and a core member of the Metaverse Standards Forum. His excellent skills have allowed him to serve as a mentor for several universities in the United States, India, Spain, Latin America and the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).
