Dr. Sara Hernández Santamaría is a medical specialist in Ophthalmology who has developed as an active member of prestigious societies in her field, such as the Spanish Society of Ocular Implant-Refractive Surgery or the Ophthalmological Society of Madrid. 

In this sense, he has stood out for an intense research activity, making panel communications on the study with multimodal imaging in a case of Choroidal Macrovessel or on Hemovitreous secondary to Sickle Cell Retinopathy. In addition, she has also developed posters on the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of Conjunctival Epithelial Neoplasia or Bilateral Granular Corneal Dystrophy Relapse after Lamellar Keratoplasty.
