Dr. Indalecio Cano Novillo is a reference in thoracic and abdominal surgery of children and adolescents. He is also internationally recognized for his use of non-invasive laparoscopic and endoscopic techniques to remove hepatic and bronchogenic cysts, among others.

In addition, his contributions have been recognized in high impact academic journals and specialized congresses; and his knowledge and skills in these areas are the result of continuous training in prestigious hospitals in countries such as the United Kingdom, Germany and France.  

In recent years, he has developed his care work in multiple institutions dedicated to pediatric care. He has served as Chief of Service or Section Chief and has gradually contributed to the insertion of modern robotic technologies to complete advanced surgical procedures.
