With more than two decades of experience in the Surgical Oncology and Minimally Invasive Surgery Service of the Quirónsalud Torrevieja Hospital, Dr. Pedro Bretcha Boix's extensive knowledge in this field has allowed him to occupy the position of Head of the General and Digestive Surgery Service at the said center.

With a special interest in the most advanced surgical techniques, he has made practical stays at Mount Sinai Hospital and the National Cancer Institute of Washington, deepening in Advanced Laparoscopic and Metabolic Surgery. In addition, his leadership has allowed him to hold the position of President and Coordinator of the Spanish Society of Surgical Oncology and the Spanish Group of Peritoneal Oncologic Surgery, respectively.
