Experience

Nurse María José Castro Ruz is characterized by her maximum involvement in areas that transcend the clinical field and go into equality between women and men, the provision of quality health and care services and the coordination of programs in various areas for the continuous improvement of patient care in different units.  

Her management skills led her to hold the position of Deputy Director of Nursing at the University Hospital Reina Sofia in Cordoba and to be involved in this area in numerous actions such as the coordination of Reference Units of the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, the ASCO-QOPI certification program of the Medical Oncology unit, the review of Standard Operating Procedures or the GERM program for Bariatric Surgery and Hematological Gynecological Surgery, among others.  

Her teaching activity has allowed her to transmit to students the processes and protocols implemented in the health system to promote quality and patient satisfaction.
