El arte es una de las disciplinas de la vida del hombre que, a través del tiempo ha sufrido innumerables cambios e influencias de distinta índole. Estudiar a plenitud los métodos con que los artistas hacen sus trabajos y el porqué del uso de ciertos materiales, abren un abanico de posibilidades hacia el entendimiento del mundo artístico antiguo hasta el contemporáneo.
Adquirir conocimientos acerca de los distintos materiales que conforman las obras y sus distintas técnicas artísticas, es lo que se plantea este programa de capacitación, así como comprender los problemas de conservación a causa de la naturaleza de los materiales y a su utilización. 10 temas de estudio que analizarán en profundidad, técnicas y materiales como la escultura en diferentes materiales como madera, metal, marfil, entre otros. La glíptica y otros trabajos; los diferentes tipos de cerámica, el vidrio, las diferentes manifestaciones gráficas, el grabado y la estampación, la pintura, el mosaico, la incrustación y los tejidos.
Estos, entre otros aspectos importantes que serán desarrollados a profundidad durante 6 semanas, en un temario diseñado bajo la metodología más innovadora del sistema universitario online actual: el relaerning, que permite al estudiante un rápido aprendizaje y comprensión de los conceptos, para que sea capaz de desarrollar un pensamiento crítico y analítico.
