One of Dr. Mikel Taibo Urquía's research interests is Heart Failure, which has led him to form part of the Unit of the same name at the Fundación Jiménez Díaz Hospital.

His own interest in this area has allowed him to lead meetings such as "Heart Failure under debate", in which he shows other lines of his personal interest such as comorbidities associated with HF, good control of cardiovascular risk factors or complementary tests to ensure proper diagnosis.
