Dr. Fernando Rotellar Sastre is an eminence in Medicine and Surgery, becoming the first doctor in Spain to direct the first transplant of the right lobe of the liver of a living donor by laparoscopy and the fourth in the world. He is a physician who has achieved dozens of distinctions throughout his more than 15 years as a medical professional, including the European Board of Surgery in Transplantation and Hepatobiliopancreatic Surgery and the IFSO-Surgeon of Excellence accreditation in Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery. 

In addition, he has carried out unparalleled research work, which reached its zenith after the presentation of his doctoral thesis. This postgraduate experience helped him to publish numerous scientific articles that have been indexed in important clinical journals of national and international prestige.
